Massage and Conditioning 

As our beloved senior pets age, mobility and comfort can become challenging—whether due to injury or the natural aging process. Together, we can explore effective strategies to enhance their well-being and overall comfort. 

Services may include
  • Gait Analysis: used to evaluate how your pet walks in order to identify areas of concern to guide a conditioning plan. 
  • Gentle massage and stretching, used in combination to help loosen and strengthen the body
  • Assisted exercises help retrain the body to safely rebuild muscle and strength. 
  • Red light therapy and cold laser therapy use red light and near-infrared light with reported benefits including reduced inflammation, reduced pain, and promoting cellular regeneration. 
  • PEMF therapy uses low electromagnetic pulses to stimulate cellular activity. Reported benefits include improved circulation and reduced pain and inflammation.

  • Objectively assisting in assessing your companion animal’s quality of life.
  • Offering holistic modalities (massage and conditioning), emotional and informational support during your companion animal’s senior year and end-of-life process.
  • Providing informational resources to aid in decision-making.
  • Providing referrals to community resources and professional service providers.
  • Communicating with your veterinary team to facilitate your wishes.
  • Assisting with planning for medical care and/or euthanasia.
  • Suggesting approaches for discussing grief with children and/or including children in after-death memorializing and rituals.
  • Helping with planning for after-death care, disposition of remains, memorials, vigils, and/or tributes.
  • Providing ongoing support after a companion animal's passing and during the initial bereavement period.
